Austria's most popular Christmas pastry , created according to an ancient family recipe . Shouldn't be missing on any cookie platter - delicious with finely roasted hazelnuts. 

  1. Pour the baking mix into a large bowl and stir thoroughly.
  2. Add 200 g of room-temperature butter. Knead everything well until a smooth dough is formed.
  3. Let the dough chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat).
  5. Divide the dough into 4 parts and form each piece of dough into a roll of approx. 3 cm in diameter. Cut off 2 cm from this roll each time, form a ball and roll it into a crescent shape with your hand.
  6. Bake the crescent rolls for 10 minutes, let them cool for 3 minutes, and carefully roll them in plenty of powdered sugar.
