Super moist and delicious shortcrust pastry cake . Often served with... Served with whipped cream and/or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Can be easily stored at room temperature. 

  1. Pour the baking mix into a large bowl and stir thoroughly.
  2. Add 1 egg, 100 g of diced butter and 2 tbsp of milk. Knead everything well until a smooth dough is formed.
  3. Let the dough rest, covered, in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat).
  5. Divide the dough in half and roll out both portions. Place one half on a baking sheet greased with butter, spread with jam and top with thinly sliced apples. Sprinkle with raisins if desired. Place the second sheet of dough on top, prick in several places with a fork and brush with milk.
  6. Bake the cake on the middle rack for about 25 minutes and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
