Crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside! A traditional Austrian snack pastry.

Pour the baking mix into a large bowl and stir thoroughly.
Add 250 g of lukewarm milk and 50 g of softened butter and knead into a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into 3 parts. Roll each piece into a circle of approx. 25 cm and cut into eighths.
Roll each triangle from the bottom to the top and brush with egg yolk. Sprinkle with coarse salt and whole caraway seeds.
Let the salt sticks rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes. Then bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes.
